Background

Hi Omies! Like many before me, I sought out yoga for the exercise and to increase flexibility, but as I began to practice in 2008 I realized that yoga went much deeper than I originally thought. I have been so incredibly blessed with wonderful teachers along this path that have instilled all of the aspects of yoga in their classes, teaching me that yoga is not just a physical practice but also mental. Finding the mind body connection and actually listening to it is just one of the valuable lessons that I have learned along my journey. Yoga is a life-long practice and I am so grateful to be on this path of teaching, learning and sharing yoga with the world. My goal is to teach authentically and from the heart, hoping that as you practice you will not only learn from me, but more importantly you will learn things about yourself!

Education:

  • 500 RYT- Yandara Yoga Institute: focuses on Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Meditation and Bhakti

  • 100 hour training Bhakti Yoga with Rusty Wells

  • 300 hour advanced training with Jason Crandell

  • 50+ hour training Katonah Yoga with Mary Dana Abbott

  • Reiki Master level Usui-Tibetan lineage with Allison Eaton

  • Urban Om- Wisconsin, USA: Vinyasa, Yin/Reiki

  • Hot Yoga Port Charlotte- Florida, USA: Bikram, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative

  • Tuscan Fitness- Tuscany, Italy: Retreat yoga and meditation instructor

  • Yandara Yoga Institute- Baja, Mexico: Lead yoga teacher for 200 hour RYT trainings and Yin/Restorative 100 hour RYT trainings

  • Siddah Ashram- Ujjain, India: Head yoga instructor and retreat manager for Shaktipat Meditation retreats
